Help with Road Pollution

Anyone know any good downloads for reducing or eliminating road pollution? No parks in game seem to do anything for road pollution, and I'm having trouble finding something on the STexchange. Most of the ones I've seen only reduce air pollution. Thoughts? BTW please don't tell me to enact ordinances, build subways etc as I've already got them all enacted and built and still road pollution in every game I play is bad. This is a big city (over 500K) so little transport tips won't help out here. Thanks all

well road pollution is one of those things you wont get rid of compleatlly, more in big cityes where loads of cars/buses move arround. Air pollution bats, at least hel to reduce or limit it to only the roads thats the best i have been able to do. sims dont mind a bit of road polution here and there

The reason why your parks don't work is that those have minimal effect on the air pollution, especialy the maxis ones, as those all have minimal effect. There are some parks with strong park effects here on the STEX, that reduce even a large amount of pollution all over the tile, like this one: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=19071. I use it when I need some High-Tech industry. There is one thing you must warn you for: It will totaly pollute your cities if you delete the lot too quick!

Just this mods, or alternative transport.

Use Subway to workers, and trains to industries.

Is it a big commercial area?

Because commercial area have many many cars around there... ... and a lot of consumers.

Road pollution is just a part of a big city. You're not going to get rid of it without modded parks or a mass transit system that gets people to stop driving.
