I seem to have a problem when I place anything close to my railtracks.

I'm running rush hour.

My stats are Core2 Duo@2ghz / 4090mb ram / pg.file 1464 used,,,,6891 available,,,dx10

I run well over a hundred mods and this is the only problem I have,,,and it makes me very 26.gif

I know someone know's the answer here,,,,,,,thank you once again..

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, but...

If you are referring to the light brown area that is around the rails, streets and such, that is normal in the un-modded game. Any development that touches the tracks will cause the texture to appear. I imagine it is supposed to represent the rail bed for the tracks. The same is true for streets and roads in any agricultural area. The light brown texture will appear to represent a dirt shoulder if the network touches any developed area. If the routes touch two different developed areas, as in one of your pictures, the higher one will have preferance.

There are some mods available that change the sidewalks and textures around he tracks and roads depending on the effect you're seeking.

I can't really tell the problem. The dirt is wrong? Actually, the dirt looks a little brighter than it should be. You may have installed a mod which changed the dirt texture.

Unless you don't want any dirt? In which case you can try the Swamper-PEG No Rail Dirt mod. It will remove the dirt texture on rails and agricultural roads and show only the terrain underneath where dirt was. It was never individually released (as far as I can tell) but you can find it with the PEG Pine trail rail crossing.

However, if you have another mod affecting the dirt texture, then there could be some conflicts, in which case you'll have to search your plugins to find the other file changing the dirt texture.

Thank you both for your help,,,,I tried the REG pine trail,,,but no luck. That's when I thought I would try the snow mod,,and I got those ugly corners. I'll do a plug-in search,,,,,,change my map a little,,,,,start fresh,,,,,,,,,keep trying...

I swear I spend more time fiddling with the game than playing.......I guess that's what I love about it..

    Thanks again for the replies!!!!!
