JS Seawalls Help

Hi! Um, this is gonna sound weird, but I installed the JS Seawalls, and I want to make some sort of Marina with Seawalls, but I can never get the ground suitable for use of them. I have no ground leveling mods, only Maxis Terraformer. Does anyone have some suggestions? Thanks.

PS: I see people get really even coastlines at a low level, making perfect seawalls. Does anyone have an idea how this is?

Maybe this Omnibus article will help. Although if you have a developed city, you don't want to use the terrain raising/lowering tools. In that case, I usually use the game's terraforming tool at close range along edges and streets/roads to level things off. Just a thought...

the way i do it is flatten a straight piece of land and place a wall on it to see how high it is. then raise or lower that same piece of land to the desired height. once you find how high you want the land to be, just use the tool that levels the land to the height of the land where you first clicked. start using the tool on the spot you made and expand to the area around it. that will level the land to the same height as the piece you originally worked on. then all of the walls should plop at the same level. some minor adjustments may be needed, but it works well once you get used to it.

you can use single tiles of road or street to level terrain
