Cities XL website access "FORBIDDEN"

After being mostly silent since announcing the end of the Planet Offer, Monte Cristo now "FORBIDS" access to the Cities XL website. Wow....seems dramatic. Could it be a sign that good things are happening and the future of the game will be better ? There seems to be mixed opinion from the expert players that MC is really committed to this endeavor. What is the feeling from the members of the community that have "the ear" of the game developers/creators ?

Yes, They announced on the site, Please be optimistic, patient . Such negative critics is not needed now, I hope all of us to slow down on critics till the situation is clear and we know what will be offered by MC.

"The Cities XL website is unavailable until Thursday 25th February due to a heavy maintenance operation. We apologize for the inconvenience" roughly translates as "OH GOD! We forgot we promised to upload some pictures from that contest we came up with at the arse-end of last year but we don't have a server to store them and we've been banned from Imageshack!".

Just kidding. It's probably a new bus and a park.

Heavy maintenance is probably the most likely explanation why the CitiesXL website is closed. They have to make it ready for "CitiesXL 2011", and removing all PO features and turning it to maybe some kind of online shop for new stuff packs.
