Saving Location...Cities do not show up in Region view...

hey everyone...bought a new computer this week and was able to get Simcity 4 Deluxe installed and works great.  I have been playing in the London region and I transferred my cities from my previous computer to this one...only 2 of the 6 show up.  I noticed there are two simcity folders in windows...one under program files (x86) and one under my documents.  I have moved the files to both locations and tried to load the files in the game, with no success.  Anyone else have this same probelm or have a solution?

Specs Are:

New Computer:  Intel Core i7 &20QM (1.6 ghz)  Nvidia GeForce GT240M Graphics Card, 4 gig ram, windows 7 home premium

Previous Computer:  cheap, crappy machine...lol...windows vista home premium.

Where should I have the files so they show up on the region in the game?

The regions being transferred need to go into the Regions folder in the  My Documents path. When you copied your region into the folder, did you delete the one all ready there, or did you copy/paste over it. If you tried to copy over the folder, the cities files may not have simply over-written the files since they would have a different names.

Also, did you try opening the "missing" cities? Some times the region view will show no cities, but if you open them, they are actually present.

I have the problem where cities do not show up region view, their tiles show a completely flat green plain, regardless of terrain that is there. Anyone know a solution?

Mine do this, A fix for me was loading individual cities and "Saving and Exiting to Region", it will create a regional screenshot and appear normal. I haven't found another solution.. I think it's an OS problem.

If you are doing anything else while saving, the regional screenshot will not be created and will appear as flat. So you just have to wait patiently until your city is saved.
