Hi fellow Simtropolis members. I'm ready to contribute to the community!!!!

I'm probably going to fail but here it goes...

I'm really small (still in middle school) and I wander if I have time to start making lots on LE. I can't BAT though, unfortunately, because it is too hard for a student like me...

I've already made some really small (1x1) lots that use maxis props (to minimize dependencies needed). They are things like junk dealers or small sport fields.

I would like suggestions on what I should make (should be really small, so I can add lots of detail)

Should be something outdoors, but I can't think of anything anymore.

Also, as you post your replies, please take time to vote if I should upload the following:

-An outdoor community pool

-A junk dealer

-A leash-free park

-3 ballparks for different wealth levels (uses RMIP textures)

-A plant store

-A used car store

-A rural trucking comany

This should be moved to the Loting theard, or you can learn the BAT and show us some progress of your first BATs and we'll see.

I got some pics of the lots...

    minilots1.jpg

Here are the names of the lots, from left to right

    -plant store

    -small rural trucking company

    -junk dealer

    -leash-free park (for dogs)

    -Elball*$$$

    -Elball*$$

    -Elball*$

    -small dog statue

    -used car dealer

    -fountain plaza

*Elball is a random sport that I sort of made up (I hope it's not already out there). Basically, each team has players that will use their elbows to pass a ball slightly smaller than a basketball (way lighter 3.gif). When the ball drops, its the other teams ball. You can block aswell. There will be a goalie who may use other parts of his/her body to defend (no catching, only deflecting)!!!!!

Hi, I'm back. This time I got 3 little picnic areas. The problem is that they require dependencies like the other lots but it's just not worth it downloading all those dependencies just for some weird lots. Here is a picture of the 3 picnic areas.

    Bye

Hey, not too shabby! In fact, you seem to have talent. Your choice of props is logical, there's a clear concept to all lots, and your lots generally look quite pleasing. I probably like those picknick areas best so far.

What are the dependencies, btw? I see those fences and the green container from the SFBT Essentials, PEG's MTP textures, and some Cycledogg textures... but where are those wooden picknick tables from?

Oh, and I've just seen one thing you have forgotten: Some trashcans! After unwrapping their sandwiches, your Sims are supposed to dispose of their garbage properly, right? 2.gif

Honestly i don't think there's any evidence that you're failing in giving your contribution to the community (i'm referring to your first post) 4.gif! Those lots are well thought on, and they seem to be well-done and nice-looking. Hope you feel appreciated for your work there, you deserve it!

What I like about these lots is that they are neatly lotted. I think your choice of props is very logical and the colours match well. Making good lots is a skill. From what I can see, I think you do have a skill at lot making and have a bright future. 4.gif
