Well this is my return to city journalling/ writing my mayor's diary and so this maybe slightly rusty but I'm looking forward to writing one again and this time it should be even better than before!! In case you have no idea who I am I have been the author of past journals Ancelstierre and Ratislava. So lets begin and I can't wait to meet some of my old friends again (you know who you are!!).

Oh, this is truly an interesting concept you have here. I like it and your background info in the introduction is very logical. An interesting point is ankhor1's viewpoint- it would be quite an effort to incorporate the native peoples in the area, also to get a new - and social - approach to the story, as deportation has never paid off... .

Looking very much forward to further updates, good luck,

lucky7

Benedict: Thank you very much my friend, yes it is a shame that Ancelstierre has finished but it didn't really have a future once I'd left it for that long.

lucky7: Thanks for the comment yes it will be interesting although I wasn't entirely accurate in my introduction but hey its fiction!!

ankhor1: Thanks for the compliment, on the subject of the finno-ugric people I hadn't really thought of them but great to see people challenging my background like that!!

Nicely done. That's a lot of work for a road... I am eager to see its construction completed.

Good storyline so far. The cottages and dirt roads are very detailed. The road construction was great addition to the storyline so far. I am eager to see where the development will go now that the road is built.

Beautiful work with the village and road winding through the lowlands. This is a very great start to developing a beautiful region.

I've actually seen that region before on the STEX, great choice and good luck building society in it!

Such a small yet beautiful town. I can already see many more housing developments going up around it, that being the town center.

Great story, great beginning to what could be a very good City Journal. 9.gif
