Kingdom of Holstrem

 

The Kingdom of Holstrem is an independent state in the southern part of Atlantica Alba. The country is bordered to the north by Calderwood, to the east be Demetae and to the south by Movia. To the west lies the Atlantic Ocean. Holstrem is a former Danish colony and therefore the official language is Danish. The Kingdom is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary system of government. The nation is known for its large welfare state, which is based on income equality and welfare services for every citizen. The total population is 1,105,000, which is spread over an area of 8,221km².

With Denmark, Holstrem shares strong cultural and historical ties, and there have never been any big conflict between the two nations.

Holstremhagen (in Danish: Holstrømhavn) is the capital of the Kingdom of Holstrem. The total population is 675.000, which means that the half of the population live in this city. Holstremhagen is the centre for Holstremian culture, sports and business.

Update:

Aabendal is a city with approximately 50.000 inhabitants. It is known as one of the oldest cities in the country and is the home of the biggest beer company, Aabendaler. Here follows some pictures:
