How big should we be making landfills? How does the road connections work with them. Is is true that it is cheaper to run one large landfill as opposed to two smallers ones? Is there perhaps an Omnibus article that is more in-depth than 'Utilities'?

I always start out samll with my landfills (2x2) when it gets full, i expand as needed.

THe road only needs to tocuh one tile of each landfill area.

The size of a landfill does not matter cost is calulated pert tile, so 2 1x1 landfills would cost the same as a 2x1 landfill.

Landfills work best if constructed (and deleted) in 2x2 sections ... otherwise the above answers are fine.. if you are getting "no road" access it is likely you are trying to build one in a city without residents.
