I get this message when trying to start Datpacker:

The program cant start because MSVCP71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I have done what windows said to do(not smart i normal situations 2.gif ), but i get the same message.

I dont really want to have to download the DLL from an online library, cos its probably not safe, and there are probably many more DLLs i need...

I have used Datpacker before in win7 and never got this message.  I alread have my plugins packed, but there are some duplicates, so i want to repack it.

Please help, and thank you in advance.

I don't have an answer for you, but do advise great caution.  I lost all my Microsoft environments by trying to reinstall things.  I now don't have an MS partition of any kind on my machine.  You need to find out what this dll does before you do anything else.

If your need is not urgent, I would do nothing except maybe redownload the datpacker and reinstall it.

If I'm not mistaking, the Datpacker readme includes a list of .dll you need to have, with links on where to find them.

Thank you all! I read the readme (who would've thought it would be in there, eh)

Thanks that seems to have fixed it!
