What a strange request!

I don't remember buildings like that, but sometimes when you destroy an air cleaner, it produces pollution everywhere...

Well of course I recognise that the anathma of a CJ'er is to actually RUN the city. Too bad.. it's quite easy to produce pollution in short order with a bit of city running and dirty industry.. and recall that farms oddly enough produce HUGE amounts of water pollution.

yes farms are huge culprits for water pollution, and in the real world too (runoff, manure, fertilizers etc)

Seaports and farms are the biggest ones. Also the Somy (not sure on spelling) oil rig produces a large amount of pollution. Depending on the area, I suggest downloading some of PEG's seaports like this one. They make a good amount of pollution and look like they belong in industrial areas and whatnot. For best results, I suggest putting in the farms, seaports and the oil rig (if you can find it cause I can't at the moment). Another side note, the farms with orange trees or any type of trees seem to cause the most water pollution.

    Thanks everyone!

The problem is that I am building a large port (using PEGs). But most seaports made here arer a bit small and the waterways too narrow. But, with a wider body of water, the pollution doesn't fill all the tiles.

someone mentined the oil platform... I agree that you might look at that.. it generated massive pollution as I recall.. It is made by SOMY I believe and is made to plop on the water, not on land.. After you get your pollution you may leave it or take it out. Seems it covers an area of about 10x10 pretty heavily

Try filling those gaps with the least amount of oil rigs as possible, that should do the trick.

Also, beware of those ultra water pollution cleaner buildings that are sometime tied with water pumps, some will soak up a massive amount of water pollution around them, and others soak up ALL of the water pollution in the city.
