Slowing down traffic

Is there a way (a mod maybe?) to slow down traffic? It seems to me the cars go way too fast, especially on avenues. GLR goes even faster. It looks a bit silly to have a tram zooming around at what looks like 250 kph.

Did you have the speed on the 3 arrow setting (i forget what it is called) because that speeds up the automata. On the 1 arrow they seem to move just fine.

No, I'm running at the default (slowest) speed. On avenues it's particularly noticeable, they just go way too fast.

As a suggestion, have you tried patching the game up. Since I dont actually remember patching my own game up to whatever it goes up to, I cant help you find them, or even know how many of them there are

Also, since I havent experianced this myself, it might not work.

But, its a suggestion, which is a start (I guess)

But sorry if it doesnt work

I have noticed the same thing, as far as I know, there is no way to fix this. I do believe that this is because of commute times, in the game, I believe that they are measured in seconds! It's weird, I know.

The "speed" you are talking about has nothing to do with the actual "traffic" in game. You are describing the "automata" which is just eye-candy, and has nothing to do with the actual game "traffic". You can reduce the "density" of them and set them to only certain hours per "simday" or even turn them off as I recall in the game graphics settings, but I don't think you can change the apparent speed. Are you having any other problem with the performance in the game?
