Big brown boxes

Hey, when ever i place a downloaded building like a skyscrpaer i get a massive brown box that says simcity4.cim on it. Anyone now how i can look at the building?

You need to read the readme and download needed dependencies. Always, always, always read the readme (or even the screen about the download before you download it.)

Are certain files in particular not working? You might need the two bldgprop files. You can get them here if you don't have them.

If you have SC4 Deluxe Edition, that will work just fine, you don't need Rush hour.

The STEX has some icons that tell you what the file has, needs, and any other things.

Mostly, if you have the box it either means that you moved the plugin or deleted it from the folder.

If you have vanilla SC4 (without Rush Hour) you will need Rush Hour. IF you have SC4 Deluxe, you won't

Most of the content on today's SC4 exchanges came out after Rush Hour, so it is recommended to have either the Rush Hour expansion pack or Deluxe (which is probably easier to find) to use much of it.
