question one: my bad...is not only the parliament, is also - The Presidency

- High Court of Cassation and Justice

- Government

Ceausescu tried to copy the Kremlin Style and the country to be controlled from that place

is a legend about that building...something like under that building are escaping tunnels and that kind of stuff

some details:

270m by 240 m, 86 m high

92 m underground

1,100 rooms

12 stories tall

the cost was over $10 billion

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the Palace is the world's largest civilian administrative building, most expensive administrative building, and heaviest building.

question two: i'm not sure what is that thing :)

Wait... you say it goes on for 92 metres underground? As in, the deepest basement is further away from ground level than its spire?

Wow...

I'd say London, Paris, Barcelona etc

Of the smaller European cities, I really liked Bordeaux when I visited last summer. Also Manchester was great. I'm sure there are other great cities, but I can only comment on the ones that I have visited.

Here's a photo of Cathédrale Saint-André de Bordeaux I took that illustrates why I loved this city so much.

Rome, Italy.

Uncle of mine knows pretty much all alleys, tiny little coffee bars and hidden restaurants there so it's a city I really love. :D

I love old towns and cute cities. So here's my list:

1: Tallinn, Estonia - The most fantastic old town I have ever seen.

2: Potsdam, Germany - Amazing castles, amazing old town, amazing scenery, amazing city!

3: Nordlingen, Germany - Gorgeous city with a fully intact city wall, a big railway museum and old 6 story buildings. What's there not to like about this city?

4: Berlin, Germany - 3 cities in 1; traditional, commie and capitalist.

5: Luzern, Switserland - Love this place, I just like it.

6: Prague, Czech Republic

7: Paris, France

8: Rome, Italy

9: London, UK

10: Amsterdam, NL

1. Talinn, Estonia : same as above :) I just love all those hill streets and its churches

2. Amsterdam: my capital, I have been there this very weekend, just an amazing city with much more to offer then just the red light district and coffeeshops.

3. Købenbavn (Copenhagen), Denmark. Great city with a lot of nice streets an historic buildings.

4. (Roma) Rome, Italy. Well just it's Rome! As I am on grammar school it is even more an interesting city.

5.Ålesund, Norway. A pretty unknowm city build on islands in a fjord. It has something about it that amazes me, its surrounding fjord and mountains, its small squares and churches on hills.

I've not visited it yet, but Saint Petersburg in Russia looks amazing.

Perhaps if somebody here has been they could tell us what they thought of it.
