and had to leave the restaurant and head back to the office

 

Salad of Early Spring Greens -- Green Goddess Dressing (substitute with Italian dressing)

 

Rack of Lamb to your taste with Mint Sauce

Whipped Potatoes with Horseradish, Pan Gravy. (hold the horseradish pliease)

Cauliflower/Spinach casserole with Button Mushrooms

 

Boston Cream Pie

 

 

Could I also order Fresh From Moose Factory Oven 2 dozen of theses?:

Good morning all!  I have been on a waffles and bacone kick lately!  Could i get a serving along with some fresh Orange juice?  M3  I am still working on the exhibits.  using some of your pics and planting them in frames.   Then need to work on the simcity drive over to the Moose Factory and end with Ball Room scene or two.   Mr. Moose does the ballroom have a special dedicated name or is it just "the ballroom"

The "ballroom" is called "The Great Room" it has a fireplace that takes up most of the North wall, a small stage in front of that for a head table, and general table seating for 10 per table.  The usual white damask service and a special China dinner service made at Limoges, France in the early 20^th century.  The flatware is Sterling Silver. 

 

All of this is policed by the KK Dragon who has an affinity for any mobile equipment going out the door.  While KK is a nice enough guy for a dragon, he has been known to cook thieves where they stand.  I think the last people who received his attention were named Thenardier.

We guessed you meant the small meatballs that properly go in a soup.  These are made of lamb, flavoured with caraway and harissa.  We used regular button mushrooms in preparation of the soup adding a few shiitake near the end.  Enjoy.

Well, then, we are all set.

 

As a reminder/renewal let me describe this place a little more.

 

Modelled after Spyder Robinson's Callahan’s Cross-Time Saloon, we have made some innovations.  The autosystem (autochef, autobar) provides food and drink at any hour with automatic service.  Express what you want and you get it.  Minors are not served alcoholic drinks, but the autobar replaces the real alcohol with synthohol (Star Trek Next Generation).  Exotic orders for food and drink from far away places are usually synthesized on the spot but may be teleported in if that is the best solution. 

 

The KK dragon is the general dogsbody, bouncer, and caretaker in this place.  His real name is Kempenfeldt Kelly, but only witches and wizards should know that.  We rescued him from being killed by a power boat propeller on Lake Simcoe when he was just out of the egg.  He is a golden dragon, the only male of his species.  Generally, he is very gentle, but don't get him crossed up with Puff.  He is not at all reluctant when the chips are down.  Mostly, he lives in the back room next to the Great Hall, but will give a whiff to start up the fireplace there.  The great hall's fireplace is large enough to roast an ox and has the spits to go with that.  The spits are turned by a water wheel mechanism.

 

Any advanced technology, unknown to the onlookers, is indistinguishable from magic.

Do you know I was captivated on each and every word!?! Thats is zome great history of the KKD's background and a nice pic too!....I shuddered when i read the name........then read that iam not among the elite that are allowed to say it . Krispy Kreeme?  That greasy gunk?!  Timmy's forever.  That Yankee outfit tried to get into the Canadian market, but beat a hasty retreat.  I think there might still be a few Tim Horton's in the northern U.S.  We couldn't keep the American troops away from our Timmy's in Kandahar.

Roman, perhaps you would enjoy a serving of our Sopas d'Ajo?  This Spanish originated garlic soup is usually served only Friday evenings so that the pong of the soup will be out of your system by Monday.  Think of French Onion Soup except substitute whole garlic heads for the onions.  To cap this off, we can also serve you a croissant with a pot of butter and some sprigs of green garlic.  A nice Spanish red or a pitcher of Sangria goes well with all this.

I already enjoyed my soup and my drinks Sir, thanks. But, by the sound of the meal you suggest, I wanted to try Sopas d' Ajo this day. And Sangria sounds nice
