City Travel and Power

Question - If I have 3 cities in a row (let's call them City A, B and C) will Sims travel from city A, go thru City B for a job in city C (assuming mass transit is available) or will they only go to the adjacent city B?

Also If I produce power in City A and sell it to City B, can City B turn around and cell it to city C?

I suppose its possible, but then again I'm not exactly an expert on the game's mechanics.

The power can be sold, I believe, because the city will sell only its excess power. So if B is buying more than it needs, then it can be sold to C.

I think that this does happen. I have cities that when I check a freeway in, using your example, City B, buses are coming into the city from City A but never getting off the freeway, going right to City C.

What's great about this? City B gets transit revenue! wooot! I'm not sure, but I think you need the NAM to make this happen.

Yes, both of these are possible, although the trips from A through B to C are rare if you're not using a transit mod, because sims in the unmodded game won't travel anywhere NEAR as far to get to a job. The unmodded game is extremely unrealistic when it comes to travel times and distances.
