Hello everyone, in this post I will only give a small overview on how to city is at the moment.

For people how hasen't seen anything, this picture will give a good impression..

A brand new update will be posted late next week, I have only little time to work on the city

Hello, welcome back and thank you for your comments!
In this post some pictures of the work that I'm doing at the moment..
Nothing has changed much, the number of citizens is now 287.000

Looks great. I haven't played CitiesXL in about a month but your city makes me want to play it again

Anyways, how are you managing with the small roads in your high tech area? When I played, I remember having problems, and I only got to about 150,000 citizens.

Those small roads are only the access ways to the buildings, I've build a large avanue through the area which connect's it to my city.

Problems with high-tech can happen when the production is two high in comparison with the demand, I've noticed that the profit rate becomes lower when the demand is very low.. Also, make sure to have a good connection, with maintaining the freight/passengers green.

Hello, welcome back to Update 9!

With the prosperity of becoming a metropole, the Mayor has welcomed many more citizens.

A increase of 20% today raised the number of citizens to 325.000 people!

The Mayor was glad to welcome these people for a nice piece of pie in the brandnew City Hall.

Some new High-Density builds have been added, with also a footballpitch (5+ Health)

I have to decide to make a freeway already or not, because of the traffic problems..

Welcome back to my CJ, with today Update 10!

A big update which large improvements to the city, with a lot of high-rise.

The Mayor is happy to inform us all that we have welcomed the 450.000th citizen today

Relaxed in his shiny City Hall, the Mayor was reading the 'latest news' section.

Suddenly, he was going mad! Buses, there coming!!

Later that day: 'Some phone-calls which came throughout the city reported about a man running around the streets screaming: Buses!!

The Mayor quickly ordered his staff to take some space into account for the new bus-lanes.

Although he is not sure if the city has to pay an extra license or to go online

The improved RoadMAP for the upcoming highway 66 with also the possible buslanes..

Completion of the expressways (in black) has also finished after month's of hard work at the infra-department.

Last but not least, Hotel Lux (vacation) was able to be build within the downtown.

How? The Big Avater Park has positive effect on the environment which makes it perfect for holidays!

Welcome back everyone, with a small update!

Update 11,

We have made good progress, with the city now holding 556.000 inhabitants
This number has never been hit by me so I hope everything goes well!

A new windpark has been created, holding 40 windmills.
I thought that 1 token of electricity is produced by 17 windmills!? (Anyone who knows this?)
It might be a bit cheaper than to trade. 17 x 500 = 8500 or to trade: 10.000
With the trading balance I'm now importing 12 tokens of electricity which cost me 120.000 per turn.
Still, we have a positive flow of 45.000 per turn.

Now that we have hit 500.000 construction has started on the highway 66.

I like the look of the highway with the towers in the distance as the obvious destination - looks like just the kind of publicity photo a highways agency would actually do.

In the today update, I bring you Update 12! 

A little step back in time:

In Update 10, I've made a RoadMAP with the bus system taken into account. 

Having done this, I can throw it in the trash again. Why? Because the bus-system is going to be PO exclusive 

This bad news can't shadow me nor my city and I will show everyone that kind of city can be made in Single Player!

Welcome back to a small update, number 13!

Having only little time I made small progress on the city, which now holds 815.000 people

Pollution is killing everything and I can not do anything about it

I have destroyed two oil-fields, I thought it might lower the air-pollution..., haven't noticed anything!

So far, so good and think I will build the city up to 1 million people and then stop.

Looking forward to the bus-system, I bought the PO, and I must say it goes very well.

Having 2x the amount of profit each turn while the city online is 10x smaller.

It was nice to build this city which I will keep after the 1 million mark, you never know what the future holds....

Anyway, here are two new pictures on the city..

I would never delete the city because if any changes in the game would be made, if would have to start all over again.

And now, with the new patch which has a lower price when trading with OmniCorp, it might become a very big city with the new changes..

How do you do it? lol! I play on the same map as you and yet I make much less money and my city is much more full =s (have the same ammount of inhabitants too)...

& when I built a highway, my costs went up enormously to -75,000 LOL! =s crazy

That is probably because you've build the highway to the border of the map, which makes it a city-link..

The problem is, that city-link costs 100.000C per turn, I had the same problem..

After a while, I figured it out and deleted the link.

Could be something to look into....
