Hello,

Does anyone of you got this issue? It only happened when my cities got bigger. And since the technical support does not answer me anything, i'm kinda lost now.

I'm running a C2D P8700, 6GB memory with a nVidia 260M with the 186.81 driver at Vista 64. Already updated DX.

So, if you have came up with this and managed to solve it, please, give me any directions.

Thanks

It has been a problem from the start. try building some building around the road, sometimes that flattens out the ground a little bit so you can see the road,

also they have even fix the problem because I cant seem to make the roads do that any more

I was seeing this just a few hrs ago. So it certainly still exists.

It sucks when you have a one way road that has a good chunk below the terrain. You can't see which way its going at that point 4.gif

heh you think? Looking at the error, it seems like the roads aren't conforming to the terrain well enough, and so if you have terrain that is really noisy (lots of small dips and hills), the road doesn't sample the height frequently enough to follow them exactly. Thus you have small hills where the road cuts through on its way to its next segment. Remember the roads are essentially straight. Curves are just made of a bunch of straight lines. At least as far as computers are concerned 2.gif

The issue seems to go away the highter you have the graphics setting on, Dose any one ells find this ?

I started a new city and just build roads randomly, but could not get it to do it, but as soon lowered the graphics  level down to low it seemed to be every where
