Brown Paper Packages

So I've gathered that I need Rush Hour to see most of the buildings I've downloaded from this site so I won't see brown paper packages. Is their an update to my current version of Sim City 4 to add Rush Hour, or do i have to buy the deluxe version to get it?

There is no update, the only way to get rush hour is to BUY it.  Some stores might still have just rush hour, but a majjority of the ones ive been to only have deluxe. So if you can find rush hour, buy that, if not you will need to buy deluxe.

As far as the brown paper packages, they are there becsue you dont have depndencies. Look at the downloads you have gotten so far, and download the links that are mentioned in the "dependencies" section as you will need thoose to get rid of the packages.

That is what I thought. I have downloaded the dependencies, but I still get the brown paper packages. So now my question is: Did anyone who has the regular sim city 4 (not rush hour) get the downloaded buildings to work?

No, no one that does not have rush hour, or deluxe, will get that file to work. And this is because Rush hour is a dependency of that file. Therefore you must have rush hour, or deluxe, for it to work.

Thanks I couldn't find that answer anywhere. I upgraded to Rush Hour and now all of the packages are gone. Thanks,
