Looking to create a 'sandbox' game

i'm new to this forum & mods. i'm not looking to go hog wild on modding sc4, but i would like to get some kind of mod that allows the effect of creating sandbox play, i.e. unlimited or near unlimited simoleons.

i tried d/l-ing money trees & simoleon modd, but neither worked.

i'm running SC4 Deluxe and put the mods in my plug in folder according to instructions, but just got the same old 500K you always get.

can anyone help?

this file is a park and you place it then run the time for around a moth to get the money. make sure you delete it after you reach your desired amount though.

yes, i did unzip the files. i put just one of the simoleonmodd files (the 25 mil one) in the plugin folder. i started a new city and only got 500k. i deleted that and added the money tree files (unzipped) to the plugin folder. i saw the money tree tile and installed a few of them, set speed at cheetah >> and waited. money just drained away, nothing added.

I'd suggest the BSC Budget Tool. It's a small branch bank (or tower if you want). You plop it, query it, close the query, a news window opens up, select a value, the news item closes, it appears that that's all it can do, but a (permanent) news item appears. Open that news item, and you can get as much money as you need. If you want it do a STEX search for daeley.

Radical Ordinance Mod -- contained within is the "Godfather project" which gives a 10 000 simoleon boost to revenue. I use it myself, but only to accelerate growth of young cities. I turn it off when it can support itself. It would be good for sandboxing.

crushedcar: i did a search for BSC Budget Tool, BSC Bank, and Daeley. the last one returns tons of stuff, the first two didn't seem to have what you described. do you have a more direct link?
