Your worst traffic jam pics

I have some huge cities in some huge regions. And I can never get bad traffic. I know its not a good thing but for the look of a busy city its nice. I would like to have a packed highway. Hope alot of these pics arent due to traffic mods.

unfortunately they are , the traffic mod isn't working on everybody's comp , and its a shame that the original game never get jams like that  but maxis propably did that cos of the lag , you really need to download some traffic mods to get jams like that , hope it works for you

we strive for realism. With the new mod i placed on tha last page. Made it as close as possible without lowering the capacities. All it does is show more cars or jams where they really should be like in real life.
It's kinda unrealistic to have a congested highway but see no cars on it..lol..That's where mods come it to fix a thing or two.

This is some baaad traffic i've seen on here... Whew... Looks like Honolulu at 4PM! I'm gonna try these mods in my bigger cities! Thanks!

Some people have been having problems with all there lanes of traffic on the highways full. Well it's all in the pathfinding. The above has 3 paths going southbound, leading to a residential area further south(highway/avenue offramp).

The above is actually 4 paths at the top of the interchange. The 4th path merges with the 3rd path. hmmmm 4 paths? 4 lanes? Is a 4 lane ATN highway possible?

I still haven;'t seen anything anywhere near close to highway 401 in Toronto during rish hour Butstill those are some monstourous jams.. I'm jelous!!

lol, why would you want so much traffic anyway?? Traffic is essential for commercial zones, but too much....

 

But I understand that traffic in pics really does look nice .

 

I use DM's Transit Supermod; really clears up the traffic and commute times.

Wow, that looks like some of my cities, and I have a subway/bus station on every corner (roadtop MT modd) . I have too many people commuting to that city.

Erewnoh, just build some MT (actually a lot more judging by that pic ) and you should be fine. Wit that much traffic, your coffers will soon be full. Well, if you place the MT correctly.

How do you get the traffic to stay?

Everytime i get a few cars in a line, they all disappear.

I have all my game performance settings and everything at the top, and they never stay.

Ive had roads with really bad congestion, but never seen a major jam.

 

Any ideas?
