"Let things slide," yeah, not everyone is as nice as we are here at ST. In life, you break the law, you get something. If its really minor (ie speeding) they might let you off with a warning, but otherwise, unless you have a really really good reason, you're going to get it.

Well what i mean is (i'm centin no one will agree with me but) for me to call someone a criminal it would have to be more an ethic crime such as anything from invading a home to homicide but i disreguard drugs because for me i believe its a choice and while i myself don't promote it i don't look at it as something causing harm to others, therfore i don't fell that its really that bad of a crime, and i don't refer to drug addicts as criminals. Thats just my opinion on it feel free to have your own of course, but i have alot of respect for DMX and drug charges won't change that, however if he did something far more serious i would have a far more different reaction.

If someone is convicted for the seventh time, it is not a sign that it's time to cut them a break. It is exactly the opposite: a sign that they're clearly not getting it and need to be punished more severely. And no, being a celebrity does not earn you special treatment.

I have the entire Topps set and traded set from 1987, so I have Maddux's card there. I have a lot of the Donruss set from that year, but it isn't complete, so I'd have to check. Fleer... I have only 30 of those, and the answer is no.

As these things go, it really isn't that impressive. The 80's saw a huge boom in baseball card production due to there now being three competing companies making them where there previously was just one, and due to collecting coming to be recognized as an actual hobby rather than just something kids did. Cards from the 80's, especially the late 80's, are fairly easy to come by and not all that valuable. Lots of them were printed, people of all ages bought them, and plenty of people have held onto them. It's cards from the 70's and older where things start to get more special. Fewer of them were printed, only kids ever bought them, and most of those kids' mothers later threw them away thinking they were worthless garbage.
