Well, looks like the weather may be a bit dreary over the weekend. Oh well, I was planning on doing assignments anyway.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

It's my cousin's high school graduation party tomorrow.

Actually, I have two cousins graduating from high school this year, but the other one isn't getting her own party.

So who here likes Thai food? If you answered yes, who here can cook it?

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

I'm not really that big a fan of Thai food, or really many Asian foods. And no, I can't cook it.

In other news, I now have a Lady Gaga song on my computer ("Telephone"). Normally I wouldn't have gone for such a thing, but after buying a couple video games from Amazon I got some promotional coupon for a few free mp3s, so I figured "eh, what the hell".

I was thinking about getting that one - actually, I think I might now. I already have Just Dance and Poker Face, and I like Telephone.

I don't really like Bad Romance that much though.

Skimbo: And Italian baby's make other noises? Though her real name does sound Italian. However, that can be easily explained: she has Italian roots.

I am rather cross at iTunes - there are some songs I want to get that are available in the US iTunes store but not the Australian iTunes store.

Right now it looks like I would have to buy the CD off Amazon. If I wanted the 9 disc complete soundtrack it would be around $280.

So it looks like I may have to wait quite some time...
