There's a huge bin and several other smaller bins of Lego in my attic. My sisters and I amassed quite a bit of it over the years.

Legos were notable in that playing with them was one of the few things the three of us could do together that didn't inevitably lead to fights.

Lego is stronger than you might think. The current record for the tallest building ever made of Lego is 96.1 feet (29.3 meters), set in 2007. In theory, there must come some point at which the plastic would crush under its own weight, but it hasn't been reached yet. Getting knocked over by the wind is much more of a concern for such towers.

The first post of any thread does not count as a reply. Notice how any thread that has just been started is listed as having 0 replies. The other "missing reply" is the post that someone way back towards the beginning of the thread that someone deleted, thus causing our page flip problem.

The result is that the latest post in this thread is 2 greater than the listed number of replies, and 1 greater than the actual number of replies. At the end of this thread (provided no spillover) we should have 9998 replies listed.
