Normally, a new page is started for every 30 posts in a thread. One more note: there is a way to view posts on not yet "flipped" pages: see where it says "STARTPAGE={some number}" in the URL? Add 1 to the number on what appears to be the last page.

It's been less than 150 years since Lincoln was assassinated, and Roosevelt's younger than that. The phonograph was invented in 1877, and Roosevelt lived well into the 20th century.
