After 5 years of tireless service, our favourite Admin, SkiGeek (affectionately known as the Cyber Mom) is now known as Meg. 

Meg submitted her Member Name Re-Assignment Application (Form #27B/6) , filled in triplicate, to the Simtropolis Ministry of Internal Records February 21, 2004 at 8:34 AM. 

I am pleased to announce that after a very thorough application review process, and 26 interviews later, the Ministry of Internal Records has approved SkiGeek's request to be re-assigned as "Meg".

This announcement states that the re-assignment is hereby complete and official!  Congratulations, SkiGeek!  You've earned it!  40.gif

Glad to see the name change!  I've always liked really simple and straighforward usernames.  I'll have to get used to this though!  3.gif

Indeed!!  It's been a few years since I've last played.  The time I played before that was when I was registering here.  It was one of the only names from the game that I wanted to use that didn't have other meanings (locke, terra, edgar, etc.).  But I think if I was to do a name from FFVI today, it would be Gau.  4.gif

I had asked for them to change my username, but they told me to re-register instead.  Username changes aren't usually done.  I'm not sure if there's a policy or not, but I can count all of the name changes that I know about on one hand.

I expressly remember filling it...   I wanted it to be something a little more simple...

As soon as I become an "okay" BATter, I might apply for a name change.

But since my ever-becoming-a-BATter and name change applications are in question, it's quite likely neither will happen.
