I was just wondering if modders are able to create a mod that starts high speed chases between cop and criminals. I was thinking about the Rush Hour trailer and remember seeing a really cool computerized chase scene, not in-game, and thought it would be cool to see those types of things as you're playing. So is it possible?

Probably possible. I could probably do some sort of street-racing too, ala Midnight Club.

It's nice that I have the whole community to generate these cool ideas for me.

This is a great idea.  In today's day and age, illegal street racing is the norm in cities such as Los Angeles.  I also like the idea of high-speed chases . . . . . and possibly a UDI mission or two to go along with them?

You'll notice that the back of the cars are a bit blurred. I just did that to make it look as though they are driving REALLY fast.

god reminds me of streets of simcity if any one rembers that was like carmagedion but you could drive through your simcity 2000 cities also you could put allsorts of wepions on your cars  should make a new version of that game or petition maxis ea to make a new ver

It really IS possible to add so much more in the way of scripting too.

just slipped into this thread here...

the basic idea of illegal street racings at nitetime are awesome.
now i wonder if its possible to get some tuned cars... or better a whole tuning-scene with stores and cars and stuff like that.
i dont have a clue how to do car models, but i guess it is possible to do tricked out rides like those in the whole import tuning scene
and if someone would do a store or two a whole tuning mod would come up.
what u guys think about it?
