Getting HSR .

I am having trouble with downloading the high speed rail project. I have the June NAM only. I have tried downloading it several times but I still can't get it. Does anyone know how to solve this? Also is ghsr come with hsr too?

the stex tends to be EXTREMELY slow for newer files, it is normal, unfortunately.

Do you mean that it won't download from the STEX, or it doesn't work in your game? As blakesterville mentioned, sometimes the STEX is very slow. You might try to get it here from the LEX at SC4Devotion (you'll need to register if not). Also, the link that is included in the above post is for the original beta version of the HSPR, and many things have changed since then, including how it works. If you get the most recent version, the GSHR is included.

Can you be a little more specific? What is it not doing... doesn't show in menu...? pieces don't plop...? can't drag the tracks...? Might be able to help you more if more information is known.

I am able to download it from simtropolis. I am able to extract it but It is not showing in the actual game.

Did you install the files in the plug-in folder (or better yet, a sub-fold created specifically for the files)? You said you have the latest version of NAM. Is that installed in its correct place? Did you check for any other required dependencies and made sure they are installed?

The HSR doesn't show in the transportation menu in the actual game. I have downloaded the plugins into my own folder and extracted them to the plugins folder.

After extracting, are you running the setup program...?

If yes, it should yell you it will be creating a folder in the NAM folder to place the HSRP files. It is usually a good idea not to change it...

Once that is done, in the game you should find the menu items in the Rail menu (the second two items)... There will be one for the elevated HSR and one for the ground HSR (GHSR)...

Once you plop one of the starter pieces, select the Monorail tool (Note: Mine might look different than yours because I'm using a mod, but it is the same place)...

Place the cursor over the end of the starter piece, click and drag...

You can also select different pieces of the HSR by 'tabbing' after selecting one of the starter pieces...
