why don't they alow city to be uploaded here and is there a website for uploading city's anyway?

Hi, speed12345,

Welcome to Simtropolis.  There is a totally Maxis city on this site (linky), just scroll down to where it says, "Download a Sim City 4 Region."  Which leads me to why it's better not to upload cities.  Unless they are totally Maxis, it would be hard to know what plugins were used in the city, and needed to be downloaded by the users of it.  Which would no doubt result in people having their cities crash, and might have the effect of messing up their game, totally ruining their day, etc, etc.  You can see it would only get worse from there.

Yes and thats why we dont allow uploading cities. Also the files are quite large

In 2009, why would anyone in their right mind want to download a city that's solely Maxis buildings, with no mods?

It's like opening a ten seat theater to run silent movies, when the 21 screen move megaplex is right next door.

I used to use mods, but now I have to use Maxis buildings after I badly messed up my game and folders, and actually it isn't that bad. It's more like sitting in a normal cinema, when their is a free 3D cinema next door.

Well, you know, I think we should use SC4ever as a host site for starter cities. It's predecessors were used to upload cities but instead of full cities, why not upload starter cities (not on stex of course)?

I used to like downloading cities for my SC 3000 and these cities taught me how to build cities.

Maybe we could upload starter cities there since the site has not done anything for more than a year and it is now under Simtropolis.
