Emporia tops St. Charles, who've had a string of losses recently. Some injuries sustained today won't help the Kings.
Injury Report: St. Charles' Konowalchuk should return soon after recovering from an injury.
Injury Report: St. Charles' Gauthier out 2 weeks for foot surgery.
Injury Report: St. Charles' Miller out 6 weeks with a fractured collarbone.

Yeah, I knew you wouldn't like that update. However, please note there were only two injuries, the other was the report of someone *returning* from injury.

Second, six losses in a row isn't that big a deal. There are still many, many teams with worse records.

Meaning, finally, that it is very unlikely that your team could get worse than mine. Not something I'm proud of, but there it is.

Six loses in a row, hell that's better than 4 wins only in a season. I can't count how many games we had, but I know it's many.

That's right, Sutherland . . . . . back away.  This is my division.  Has been for quite some time.

I've gotten to enjoy my view from my office.  You will not demote me.  1.gif

I appreciate the words of encoragement Mentar, but I still have no hope. There are worse teams, but not many. Could this be the worst losing streak for a *past* winning team in ST Hockey history? Well, there is next week, but I don't predict a win.

Well at least we've won half of our games, which is better than some other teams...

Hopefully we'll get lucky and start winning more often...

    Day 44

    Today's games:

    1athregfinal8az.jpg

Athena Furiae rob Reggratta of a win that the Vikings were after to pull ahead in the standings. But Reggratta remain at the top of their division while the Wingers solidify the second-place slot in their division.
Injury Report: Reggratta's Laraque out 2 weeks with fractured right heel.

    2stcbuffinal1gy.jpg

St. Charles manage to hold Buffalo back from a move to the top of the division and earn themselves a win percentage of 50 despite another injury that will surely have the GM complaining.
Injury Report: St. Charles' Domi out 5 weeks for ACL reconstruction.

    3empherfinal1gj.jpg

Both of these teams are treading water in their divisions and could have used two points. They'll have to settle for a point each.
Injury Report: Hersonburg's Virta should return soon after recovering from an injury.

    4nbmsepfinal0by.jpg

Sephora, one of just two teams stuck in the single digits for points, embarrass a tired New Berlin team with a draw. The Magicians hold on to the top of their division, but must perform better to stay there with the pack breathing down their necks.

    5ryucenfinal2ml.jpg

Each of these teams was looking for the points to give them a firm grip on second place in its division, but will have to settle for a more tenuous hold after battling to the night's 3rd draw in the season's first scoreless game.
Injury Report: Ryushuka's Pellerin out 2 weeks with a broken finger.
Injury Report: Ryushuka's Morozov out 2 weeks with a hip injury.

    Day 45

    Today's results:

    1junarcfinal9gr.jpg

June Isle came into this game wanting to break away from Pern City to hold the league lead for themselves. But Arcadia came out on top, giving themselves a boost in the CentralEast. June Isle got a point for the overtime loss but left the door open for Pern City.
Injury Report: June Isle's Rolston should return soon after recovering from an injury.

    2affsatfinal8lo.jpg

The Fighting Flippas take a stab at the top end of the league with a narrow win over the Devils.

    3dyncorfinal4gx.jpg

Dynasty gain some much-need points in the crowded race in the Southeast in a heartbreaking loss for perpetual underdogs Cortezlynn City.
Injury Report: Dynasty's Juneau should return soon after recovering from an injury.
Injury Report: Cortezlyn City's Wilson out 5 weeks with torn bicep.
Injury Report: Cortezlyn City's Kurka should return soon after recovering from an injury.

    4redrudfinal6bi.jpg

In this battle of the bottom of the league, Redmont come out on top and move into double digits in their points column, leaving just one team in the single digits: Sephora.
Injury Report: Redmont's Kozlov should return soon after recovering from an injury.

    5prndevfinal9yl.jpg

June Isle left the door open for Pern City, but the Dragons couldn't walk through thanks to a tenacious Devonshire squad who came out on top of this pitched battle. That leaves June Isle in first place, with Pern City and Arcadian just a point behind, and a number of teams just a win behind the top spot. Reggratta, facing Royal Port next game day, are among them, as are Buffalo, who face Pern City in a matchup that should have interesting repercussions for the standings.
Injury Report: Devonshire's Johanssen out 9 weeks with a broken rib.

Thank You for the Continued Support!

Simtropolis depends on donations to fund site maintenance costs.
Without your support, we just would not be in our 24th year online!  You really help make this a great community. *:thumb:

But we still need your support to stay online. If you're able to, please consider a donation to help us stay up and running. This helps sustain a platform where we can share our community creations for years to come.

    STEX Collections

By way of a "Thank You" gift, we'd like to send you our STEX Collector's DVD. It's some of the best buildings, lots, maps and mods collected for you over the years. Check out the STEX Collections for more info.

Each donation helps keep Simtropolis online, open and free!

Thank you for reading and enjoy the site!
