Arcadia gets their chance to stifle the Stingers and uses the points to make a move upward in the CentralEast standings.

 

 

 

 

 

Reggratta tops Devonshire in a close game. Devonshire hangs on to the Northwest by a slim margin while Reggratta trails just behind Trimblelina in the tough CentralWest.

These teams battled to a tie in a grueling game. Ryushuka could have used the win to get a better grasp on the Southeast, and East Kingston could have just used the win.

Trimblelina drop a game, just their third loss of the season, to New Berlin. Trimblelina still reign over the CentralWest but others are nipping at their heels. New Berlin are now tied for first in their division.

 

 

 

 

 

Buffalo hoped to make first place in the league their own and Hersonburg wanted to get some breathing room in the crowded race for the CentralWest, but both had to settled for a tie.

Day 33

 

Today's featured game:

 

 

Tonight we'll watch as the New Berlin Magicians challenge the Dynasty Sabre-Toothed Tigers at Blackdelve Fields Arena.

 

 

In truth, though, there wasn't a lot to see tonight. Action came at 7:38 into the first period when New Berlin drew first blood.

 

 

^^^New Berlin's Messier scores from a perfect pass delivered right to the front of the net.

 

 

After that, the teams battled it out through a long game with little to show for it. Try as they might, Dynasty wasn't able to tie up the game, but neither was New Berlin able to add to their slim lead. There was no further scoring through the rest of the first period, all of the second period, and most of the third.

 

Finally the Tigers pulled their goalie from the ice during the last minute of play in an attempt to score with an extra attacker. Instead, New Berlin found what they needed to add to their lead -- and empty net -- and put the final score at 2-0. The win over the divisional rival puts New Berlin at the top of the Southeast.

Alright... This is a tricky situation... Devonshire did indeed take a loss, which helps me out, but AFF got a win, bumping them into first in the division, and me into third. I must win this next game against Regratta so I can take first place in my division for the first time. We have virtually the same statistics, so this should be a very close game. I hope my luck hasn't quite ran out yet...

All I can say is, Regratta, good luck, this will be a very edge-of-the-seat game...

Day 34

 

Today's featured game:

 

Today the new Cortezlynn City hosts the Ryushuka Rockets. First, here's a picture of the new city after a terrible nuclear disaster destroyed the previous city.

 

 

 

 

 

The 86'ers came out determined to show their fans a win after the horrible accident that killed so many residents of the city. But the Rockets weren't ready to hand over any pity points, and the first period was a hard-fought battle that ended in a draw.

 

Very quickly in the second period, however, Cortezlynn City was able to get on the board with a shot that Perreault was able to slip between Weekes and the near post.

 

 

^^^Perreault slides one in to the delight of Cortezlynn's fans, who have had little to cheer about recently.

 

 

The feeling that the game had shifted in favor of the 86'ers was palpable. It wasn't long before Weekes found himself overwhelmed and Cortezlynn City had another goal.

 

 

^^^Guerin, with the assist from Comrie, fires a goal to put the 86'ers up 2-0.

 

 

The Rockets fought hard for the rest of the period and forced several good chances but just weren't able to capitalize. Cortezlynn's Roloson just wasn't letting anything past him.

 

Early in the third period, Cortezlynn City added to their lead by firing a rocket at the net.

 

 

^^^Guerin returns the favor, feeding Comrie a pass that landed in goal, adding to the 86'ers' tally.

 

 

The Rockets were out of fuel by this point and just couldn't mount any sort of comeback. Cortezlynn City took a much-needed win that brought happiness to a city that has seen little in recent days.

A resurgent Bears squad wasn't able to overcome one of the best teams in the SHL. June Isle joins Buffalo at the top of the league.

Injury Report: June Isle's Lecavelier out 2 weeks with an ear injury.

Injury Report: Cristobal's McCarty should return soon after recovering from an injury.

 

 

 

The Rude Bruins are finally able to get their offense and defense clicking and pull off an upset over Sutherland.

Injury Report: Rude's Beauchemin should return soon after recovering from an injury.

 

 

 

Friverton gets the win here and stays alive in the CentralEast.

 

 

 

Another upset with the Hurricannes knocking down Trimblelina City.

And in a final stunning upset, Emporia is able to pull together to edge out a win over Pern City with the help of a key injury that may hurt Pern's chances for a good part of the season.
