I want to download a region not a region map, is that possible or are they the same thing? NEVERMIND I READ THE NOOBIE POST

As far as I know you can only download a entire region or a city tile (large, mediam or small). I think they are the same thing.

think he is asking if you can download and already rendered map...yes there are places on the net that do allow region downloads in this matter....but you be looking at a 20mb+ file per region...and that with none of the cities being played yet too...

 

the file size of a rendered map maps it nonworkable...eats up too much bandwith

 

so all map files here need to be rendered...saves a wack load of bandwith and downloading time for each user
