EDIT:  So now I can see the new list.

Phat, I have to more or less agree with alek- I know you are trying to reduce a rating system to a mathematical formula so as to eliminate subjectivity, but the CJs you list are most assuredly not the current "hottest" CJs.

That's not to say that they are not great CJs- that's another issue.  I'll admit to being partial to more or less all of them.

But your list is becoming increasingly out of touch with the real world...

...I mean, how can something be "hot" and dead (as in "He's dead, Jim") at the same time?

Sorry about peeing in the punchbowl, as it were, but I thought you might want to hear a dissenting opinion, given the hard work and all that you put into this.

I think if you removed my Bostalk and maybe Ocean Point and Thames....I got nothing against these Cjs....its just the fact that even my CJ Bostalk is almost a good year and a half old....

Thanks for the comments.   Remember the title doesn't say anything about past or current or dead alive,   It just says Phats Hottest CJs.  Also a cj isn't placed into the system in till it has 200 or more replies/posts.  There haven't been too many cj's  that can do that over night.

The "Score" is the point range  ie.   400-499   for the first row.   The percent is what percent of the "Top 10" are in the 400-499 range  ie 20%

"under" is 0-99 points  or under 100 points.  I will try to have this new feature every week.   

overall are all cj's in the current system not including the Hall of Fame.  The current count is 170  cjs in the system.

Please let me know what you think of these new features as I add them.

There have been the following region populations  162,229   196,999 and 200,234  This cj was born on March 12th 2006.  It has had 1582 replies and 23233 views over 53 pages.  It also has gained Dedgen the "Statisitcal Addiction Award" and Most Educational CJ Award" for 2006.  This cj has had many tutorials embedded.  Dedgen has included a table of contence which is an important tool for this cj.  He has added many pictures for some most excellent "I candy"  Then there was an expanded the region.  This cj has a large following.

Now that I don't have a pony in the show, so to speak, I'll start posting.

...tooting one's own horn and all that...

You've really shown a lot of dedication keeping this thread and your lists going now for a whole year.  I know from experience that it's work to do this sort of meta-CJ stuff, and you've definately made a contribution to the community "above and beyond."

I enjoy checking out the "hottest" CJs every week, and appreciate the little extras (and the obscure humor) you throw in from time to time.
