Welcome fellow cj'rs to  Sycamore Valley.  9.gif  I've had one other cj before but was awhile ago and short-lived, but Im Back!

I dont use photoshop or any other program to highlight my cj unfortunately, but my main purpose  is to share with the community the picture's that I do have of my cities.

It is because of all the wonderful pictures of other peoples journals and to all the awesome baters out there that inspire's me to still play this game today and that is why Im here, to show you what I have done...

   and for the region view...

    Hello again breeze:

    I forgot to ask:
In the picture below...How did you get the grass to look so lush and green? Is it a terrain texture download or something because it looks amazing44.gif

Great CJ! The region overview is BEE-OO-TEE-FULL! The pattern of erosion on the mountains combined with the rock texture makes it look amazing! How'd you get that great erosion?

One question... I haven't tried the dam yet and I can't tell from the photos - is the water behind the dam at the same level as all the other water?

    Thx. K.

Hello all again, thanks sooo much for your great comments everyone. 9.gif

Some info on New Kensington Dam, that part did take some time to build, but its paying off  to the small town of New Kensington. It supplies the entire town for all its power needs and aswell brings in a small income from the neighboring town Imperial. It also is a very popular place to just get away and relax, lots of fisherman enjoy the dam's abundance of fish, which is kept fully stocked.  29.gif

GingerBlokey:  thanks for that link, I tried to plug it in and see what happens but I still had the same texture, will have to look into that a bit more.

Texanpride:  thanks for the comment, and yes, more pics!!!

sorchin:  the mod used for the texture is Cycledogg's Terrain Mod, the mod itself is hosted on another site but you can find link's for it in the general discussion thread, I dont have a link atm but will search for it, and thanks for the comments!

Kryten:  Glad you liked the mountains! For the rock texture I used Peg's Rock Mod II, which you can find in the stex, and I do believe that Cycledogg's mod will also make some nice eroded slopes built into it aswell. And for the dam, the water behind the dam is not the same level as infront of it, you have to do a bit of terraforming to create the right way to place the dam, maybe I will do a tutorial on how I did it soon.

and a couple more pics for the night of New Kensington:

Thank you Thank you for the comments 9.gif.  Red Hawk, thanks for the link also.

Just a quick update for tonight, it seems since the new High rise in town that it has sparked new demand so the town decided to build a new train station to accomadate the new arrivals in town, a much more modern station was needed and thus the pics.

    One question though,

Where'd you get that combined rail and elevated rail station?

There is the link for that station. Once you get to that site, look towards the bottom of the main page for Bat's, look under that for the word Station in it, it is there you will find it, unless you can read Japenese well then heh, you wont have any problems.  9.gif

There is actually 2 versions of that station, one with the EL and one without it, just a train station, both look great imo.

Jerebannus, thanks for the comments, glad you liked it.
