Ok guys hope you can help me again, i am about 2 months into SC4, and kinda getting bored with it. I mean i really love the whole idea and concept. Except that its the same thing over and over. I really love all the regions i see on here, and love the journals. Im hoping to really get good at SC4 so i can start enjoying it again. So what exactly is NAM? how do i make my cities look extremely realistic? i want to learn how to build structures, and all the good stuff. Does anyone have the patience and energy to guide me and teach me? please if not its cool i understand. again thanks

Joey

For an overview of NAM and it's addons, check this. As for making your cities realistic, that would depend upon what you want to create. You might take a run through the City Journal section to get some ideas. There's lots of good stuff there. If you're interested in designing and creating your own things, you'll need the Building Architect Tool (BAT) and/or the Lot Editor. Both are available at the official site or at SC4D's Support section. To use these, there are several tutorials in the Omnibus section. And, as always, you can post any specific questions here in the forums. There are many who will be glad to help.

All you need is the Building Architect Tool from the Official SC4 website and alot of time/patience. Any body can learn it, it simply takes some dedication. 2.gif

However, since this is the mac forum, I would remind the posters above that the BAT and LOt tools will not work with a normal Mac.

But, if you really want to make buildings, then you can install windows on bootcamp, or something else like that, and get the windows version of the game. This will allow you to use the BAT with your mac.
