Ok, so there seems to be an underrepresentation of Minnesota here, at least on the STEX (I don't want any comments saying that that's because there are no buildings in Minnesota...). So far, I've found a few buildings by Niagraeagle, but his account seems long dead. And I've found lejaker from Minneapolis here, and vidioman has at least visited Duluth..

Anyway, I hope people will use this thread to represent! Post here if you're from Minnesota or know of some BAT's. Or you could just let the thread go dead there, eh?

I live 50 km away from the Minnesota border and I travel there atleast 10-20 times a year.

LOL, there are LOADS of Minnesotans on the site (just not many of them can BAT).

There's myself, jill_jacobs, pcgirl24, football_fever, swat_medic (as noted above), djrules or whatever his name is that is really long... and several others. Anywho, yes, I'd love to see more Minnesota architecture, but alas I am not a good BATer so I just stick to the sidelines and just hope face-icon-small-tongue.gif. There are SOME things on the STEX St. Paul's Landmark Center is on there... Minneapolis' Government Center (which probably needs to be relotted) and Wells Fargo Center (on the Stex as NDEX Diamond Financial) are also listed.

Anyways, like Confused, I'm not really a BATer, I'm too lazy to try to learn, and I'd need to find a program to replace gMax that the BAT will recognize.

Another Minnesotan over here!! There appears to be more of us the I thought. Funny, I was thinking about doing a thread like this a few weekends ago.

Hagar Topeka 1 - Here is the wonderful Landmark Center - https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=3548

.....and the fabulous Diamond Financial (Wells Fargo) Building - https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?id=13671

I try to find a nice place for the LMC when I can, as a point of pride (and its dang nice looking to boot!), and the Diamond Financial always pops up a time or 2 for me.

Seriously though, despite being internationally famous, the IDS Tower constantly flies below the radar of BATers.  I've seen it asked for in the BAT request thread repeatedly going back many years.

I'm Minnesotan BTW

Ditto to the IDS. I was just downtown last night and was thinking how cool it would be if someone did the Foshay Tower, now that its re-done and all.

I've got the same opinion. As a native to Minnesota i can also say that i would like to see the IDS Tower, WFC and 225 South Six here in the BAT. Not only are all 3 of them skyscrapers that'll look pretty cool in any city but they're also pretty cool looking overall. IDS with its blue windows, WFC with its gold appearence and 225 South Six's with what i call its "Bowl Top". I live in Richfield, just south of minneapolis and if i were up a few stories above ground i would be able to look out of the window at the city. Also during my frequent trips up north around the Mille Lacs area, when i'm comming home i have an option here, i can continue driving which btw i really hate those long drives and plus i'm on 35W here, or i can peer out at the city lights and see all 3 of the buildings. Of course i take the driving over looking at the city but i do get the chance to grab a peek once in a while along the drive.

Someone, PLEASE make all 3 of those buildings plopable in our cities.
