Traffic Cop isnt working!

I just went through and changed a whole bunch of speeds, capacities, etc. and when I clicked on the U I got an error message thet read as follows:

Run-time error '91':
Object variable or With block variable not set

What does this mean?

It means that the program tried to use a variable that didn't exist. Which U button did you click? To refresh, you should click the U button every time you change a value. The U button next to the text field only updates that field, not all of the fields that you have changed. When you are done changing and updating you also need to Save the dat for the changes to be saved.

The cause of your problem is that you are not Opening the TrafficCop dat file. This problem was discussed in the original Traffic Cop thread . You have to extract the TrafficCop.dat file to the Plugins folder in the ..\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity4\Plugins. Then you start Traffic Cop. Click on File, then Open and select the TrafficCop dat file. Once the file is open, you can change, update and then save the changes.

I'm sorry to keep bothering you, just one more thing, why can't I edit anything other than the capacity in the road column?

I know this topic is old and rotting but I just need to know, what does Not enough storage is available to complete this operation mean? Everytime I try to extract or copy the traffic cop dat. file to my c: drive that pops up.

Yeah, it is just a bit old.

The problem you're having though, sounds more like a Hardware problem, & a lack of Hard Drive space on your computer, than it does have with anything to do with Traffic Cop.

I'd suggest you check the Spare Space left on your hard drive. Maybe run Defrag & Disk Clean up.

No, you can name the file whatever you want. Just make sure to delete the old trafficcop.dat and use the RH-update version instead.

well, if i dont have to rename it AND i dont have another trafficcop.dat file in my pluginsfolder (neither anywhere)...
why is it still not working?

Do you have the NAM installed? The traffic plugins provided there are a substitute of traffic cop's DAT, too, so I suggest to use these instead of traffic cop. Read the NAM readme for further details about this issue.
