Eh Petriknl, your teaser is more than a teaser, it's really beautiful !! I can't wait to see more 19.gif

I need to think about this camping thing... Should we create a big lot (such as Deadwood's one, but bigger) or many small ones so that each camping sites are different (same principle than my beaches or farms in Aldebaran, made with dozens of 1x1 and 1x2 custom lots) ?

Here another example on my training... I still need to spend some time on the lot editor but it's not that bad...

Beautiful picture btw thanks for the compliment 43.gif3.gif I think we should have a lot of 1x1 and 1x2 lots then we can have all different camping sites instead of all the same and most campings are irregular of shape.. btw where are u from?

Thanks for the nice comment !  I'm from France (Paris), thus I've spent a lot of time in campings when I was younger.
But as far as I remember, Dutch people also know by heart French campings 9.gif

I'll try something when I have more free time.

    Take care

Fredval, your mosaic is beautiful. It really looks like cities in the South of Europe.
Petriknl, your work is amazing as well. I'm looking forward to seeing more in September 44.gif

It's weird because I've always considered you as my Master.

And Petriknl, your mosaics are great. It's a real honour to have a student like you 29.gif
And there have been so many cases where the students became better than their masters : Michelangelo, Platon, Luke Skywalker... just to mention a few ones 18.gif

Something that we will have to agree on is the water mod that we will use... If not the rock mod as well...

Thanks all for your comments (altough mm better than the masters... who knows hehe) and yes Fredval I agree with you about a rockmod and watertexture... I would love a meditteranean blue one for the water.. the current one I have is the Bblue.. it looks nice but maybe it can be better.. About the rockmod, I have really no idea, I am using one of PEG..

Alright, apart from the map, which is now being done by Tijn21 (with little alterations: he noticed that there isn't a lot of land mass), we need to start talking about other common material that we need. Fredval already suggested common water and maybe rock mods. Other ideas? I think cycledogg's terrain mod is magnificent to use by us all, don't you?

Petriknl suggested the camping ground idea, which is certainly something that we all could have common.

Other common ideas to unify? Euro road top mod probably (cosmetics)? Everybody has NAM?

Recently I haven't heard from most of you, only Fredval and Petriknl have been posting here... vacations have hit you guys?

    Let's hear from each other.

EDIT: At Gizmo's website, there is a 'weather' mod, which gives fog and plenty of it. I have downloaded it, but not yet tested. Maybe it could be also a good addition to our game - or would it be too Benelux/UK/Northern France thing? At least there is a lot of fog at the Adriatic see in December - February... what do you think?

mmmm I hope they are on vacation and just temporary away... I think we must use cycledogg's terrain mod it is great. It is not necesarry to have the same road top (eg the concreteroads of Belgium.. bonk... bonk ... bonk .. bonk 3.gif) but cosmetic it will look better, I thin we should use the Euro road top. The water and rockmod is still undecided.

mm maybe we could use that weathermod. We can use it in the wintertime or something like that. About the campinggrounds.. not all nations should have it but it is the most important feature of European touristsite's I think or probably one of the most important ones.

I am also still here and reading the posts every day. I think a common water/rock modd will add realism to the Nations as we are all neighbours in the cj.

So far I have not used Cycledog's modd, I will have to experiment with it first ( if I have it saved somewhere )

I have no problems using euro-top modd, I always use it.

An idea might be to negotiate the different kinds of public transport that are available. I mean every European country has its own colour scemes for trains buses et cetera. It might be nice that every nation has a unique series and we wont see the same trains/buses/ trams in every nation.

Secondly ... how about making an agreement about international road and national road numbering systems?

pff thank god Nicolais (of gewoon mooi 44.gif) You never used the Cycledoggs terrain mod.... it is so fucking (sorry) realistic really cool. The idea of different colours/cras etc should be cool very good idea... The road numbering system can be done national as you wish and yes international... do you know or does someone else now how the E-numbering in Europe ever started?

Fredval.. thanks for the correction but he maybe pointed to our (hehe) great pictures.. and you never used the Euro-top road mod? whaaaa no no and you are the master.. weird.. It is so cool it makes the highways black like they do in Europe and as the nice tollroads in France (which I think are very fine infrastructure)
