MONORAIL CONTROLS?

how do you turn the train on the monorail around to face the oppisite direction. on the control tab it say ente to switch control but nothin happens, also tried left mouse button. any ideas??

It's automatic. Some go one way and some the other, just like trains.

By Switch control it means decide which track to take at switch/point/junction, there are arrows at each junction, and you will go where the green arrow points, to switch the arrows either press enter or click on the arrows.

You can't reverse(go backwards) in trains.

And if you want to reverse the direction the train starts in then you have to quit driving and try again.

Its for the switches in the track. Click on a switch to change the exit direction. Or hit Enter when you come near a switch and it will change.

all good replies, how ever its for a u-drive it missions for some solar power guy whos came to town, so the mission is to go to a station but the train is facin the other way so how do i get to that station, my rail line is just straight with no turns or sections. do i need to put it in a ring?

I always hated train missions because of that very reason. The only solution is a ring.

With Monorails, when you have an intersection of them, the train still works right?  Like if the monorail was set up with a bunch of + throughout the region.  Will it still work?  The plus sign is how it looks.

If you want to do u-turns in a train, there is a lot on the stex that allows u-turns on a 1x1 lot. I am not sure what the name is though, just type in udi u-turn and you should get it. The lots you should get are:

u-turn for rail 1x1,  u-turn for monorail 1x1,  u-turn for El rail 1x1, and u-turn for GLR 1x2
