If you remember me I left some unfinished projects behind some time ago. I hope to finish them along with some other projects no-one knew about till now..

Map.jpg

First up is Churchway Station, a fictional Circle Line station on Churchway, Camden, London situated in between Kings Cross and Euston Square stations and would be within walking distance of Euston for interchange. It once had 4 platforms but as you can see a refurb demolished the rarely used platform 4, a stub left for emergency detraining.

It's not finished as yet...What are your thoughts? What can I improve?

I spot some Underground sings here and there, I guess it's a subway station ;-)

anyways, as leo said, the roof needs some work. Some weathering and a lil bunch of roofjunk and I think this in fact very very nice creation is ready to hit the exchanges

Great work! It looks very realistic!

Do you think you could also do a similar version, but with a red tiled roof, like seen in Germany/Czech/etc.?

Yep it's a 'subway/tube' station. That little white cabin at the end of the platform is a disused signal cabin, similar to the one at Barbican Station.

Yeh the roof isn't final, I'm doing roof stuff at the mo. What do you mean by new rail textures Gn_leugim?

Also what do you mean by the white texture at the front of the building De Ja Vu? Is it that mini base bit? If so thats just temporary and won't be there on release. If its the front wall then thats supposed to be a white brick texture though it's not very clear. A lot of the Met/Circle line stations are like this, they have a fancy front and utilitarian ugly back.

Oh I see, it's not the GLR texture though it's a modified version of the games elevated rail texture. It would be cool to actually model the the electric supply rails on their ceramic feet but I feel using the rail texture gives it a Simcity feel.

LOOOKS really sweeeeeeet 9.gif and I like it alot! But I think the roof should not be so smooth. Change that if you agree and then I think it would be...Perfect!

    Questions for you.

-How would this work.....would you be able to see the cars go through?

-Also would it be functional, and is it a subway station?

    Thanks and Nice work! Mosin

Unfortunately you can't have trains passing through, at least, I'm sure you can't, even with special LODs. On the other hand it will indeed function as a subway station.

    Not everything requires "roof junk".

This building especially.  I think a slight edge burn to fake ray-tracing would do just fine from the first images you posted.  The most roof junk I would imagine on this building is maybe a couple of small vents, but nothing more than that.

I would also keep the white facade for the building, it makes it look classy.  2.gif

Otherwise the model and textures are great, not to mention original.

I recommend to not place lods underground for technical purposes.

dude... 800x600 pictures, you're screwing up my browser 3.gif

Anyways I really like your subways! Keep up the good work. I think you could improve on one thing though... I was wondering if you could put pavement textures underneath here. so I don't end up with grass.

guess that's a lot editor thing with the pavement.

I think tho you should work on the ground texture around the entrance mcdrye. it looks like a plain white surface.

second, around the bottom of the front wall, it looks like you brightened the lower gray parts, me personally, I liked the first, dirtier version better

and finally, third, the most recent version of the roof, with fewer roofjunk and a more patterned roof texture, looks best!

Thanks GMT I agree. The white bit is just temporary and the the lower grey bits it just where the texture didn't appear whilst rendering, tis annoying as even reset won't sort it atm.
