It looks like those are wealthy Sims, that have no jobs. Do you have a lot of high tech industry and high wealth commercial available for them? I think they are snobby Sims and will not work in certain areas. Maybe that is the problem.

    some of them are nonwealthy middle and low class. what i want to know is why is their commute time so long (all of the commute times in that suburb are 'long'

    I think it's because of the road connections...make them more simple.

    Yeah, that looks a little complicated. Try building a bridge over the road with the RHW.

    On the picture I see two bridges over the highway.

    Maybe you don't use the right pieces for that? Or just there aren't places where they can work.

    I see no commercial zoning in that area. Maybe zone somore? Also it just might be that your city is expeiencing the effects of the 'CREDIT CRUNCH' and they are not enugh job for everyone.

    What's the traffic look like on those road overpasses on the RHW you have there? Maybe you should upgrade them to avenue overpasses or add a new one adjacent to those zones.

    I'm wondering about the fact that there is no demand for industry or commercial. What are your taxes set at for those?
