    Hi mate!!!

I'm pleased to announce that I'm on holiday from today until the 14th of June and I'll be unable to update between these dates.

I was terribly buzy this week, I didn't get time to reply to everyone. I was very pleased to read your comments and I'd like to thank you very much.

So, if everything is OK, I'd land on Saint-Denis/La R

What shall I say - you are the master of wasting space, you ever have been and don't know anyone yet who 'S half as good as you in wasting space ... 2.gif

I like that dirt track between the high voltage line.

And the next update .. airport, huh? well ...

no alternative? Let's say some nice railyards or long freight trains hauling through the plains? 18.gif

    Takle care!

You certainly are a great talent in LE, that's for sure! 2.gif Good work all across the board, I really like what I see. There's lots of great prop placement everywhere, most notably with the trailers and fences. The overview shots are plain awesome as well. 9.gif

    Mayorm  -  Thanks!

Nardo69  -  Thanks, yeah for the airport, I spent a lot of time on it these last weeks. I've planned to build some big railyard but they're located near downtown (not build) and the western suburbs (not build too)

Be sure I'll do my best for these!

    Take care you too!

Raysfan16  -  Thanks, I'm a master in waiting space 5.gif. I simply reproduce what I see in North America 2.gif

    Cheers and thanks for posting!

    Hawkeye9  -  Thanks!!!

Kryptowhite  -  Thank you very much!

bakercity  -  Sure you'll be amazed by this update, see ya soon!!!

ky72x  -  Thanks Kyle for your comment! I spent hours and hours to customize my CJ with the Lot Editor (thanks to it)

I've built a large collection of modular lots, with fences, trailers, parking lots. You make me very happy that you enjoy my work!

Schulmanator  -  Thanks a million! I can post some pix right here? Hope the moderator wouldn't delete them...

I like your avatar, so cute!

Petrovar Ambassador  -  Thanks!!! Just a few pics to prepare and I'll do my update soon!!!

Welcome dear visitor to Dubuque National Airport (IATA code: DBQ)

     Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Dubuque National Airport is located south of downtown Dubuque in Rockdale, between the interstates 92 and 29, along Skyline Ave. You'll find a long and both a short term parking lot, a multi-level parking lot where some car rentals are based and also the terminals A and B

Terminal A deserves daily flights for:

    Chicago O'Hare, IL

    Minneapolis, MN

    Dallas-Fort Worth, TX

    Kansas City, MO

    Omaha, NE

    Fargo, ND

    Atlanta, GA

    Los Angeles, CA

Terminal B is for non daily flights and charter flights:

    Orlando, FL (seasonal)

    New Orlean, LA (seasonal)

    Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA (seasonal)

New York JFK, NY (Mon - Fri)

Saint Louis, MO (two times a week)

and newly since the 1st of June 2009, Winnipeg, MB, operated by Air Canada (now DBQ is not really just a "national" airport)

Gorgeous airport, though (nitpick) the planes look like 747s; not particularly accurate if they're supposed to be domestic flights only.

Amazingly realistic work you've done so far though, I can't WAIT to see downtown Dubuque.

Wow, that is one great airport! I thought Dubuque would have a little bigger airport for its size, but oh well. Great job!

GMT - No worries, I don't update every two days! I agree with you, diagonal runways would be very useful and realistic indeed, but so, for the moment I use textures...

Hawkeye9 - Thanks! I'm pleased that you like my interchanges! 2.gif

Amryai200  -  Thanks, yes, I changed them! It looks better! For downtown Dubuque, I hope you're patient! 1.gif
    Thank you again!

Raysfan16  -  Hello, no, the airport is accurate for a 800'000 inhabitant metro area. Des Moines airport is not bigger and the metre population is less than Dubuque. Thanks for your post!!!

Kryptowhite  -  Thanks!!! Yep, I agree with you! It's very hard to find the good piece and how to put them together... I spent hours and hours to understand but it's worthwhile!

    TmiguelT  -  Thank you!!!

bakercity  -  Hi JKB! Thank you very much for your comment!!! Did you went to Dubuque these last days?
    See ya and take care!

Salut David! It's great that you're still updating!

And your work is awesome, really! The airport looks amazingly detailed, especially the surroundings, I don't think I've ever seen airport surroundings this detailed.

    Take care!

David, sorry for missing these last updates, I've no reasons...

Well, the airport looks great and the lots used are nice. Also, it's great to see the development of diagonals runways over CJs.

Can we have a general shot of the airport ?

    -Arthur.
