So i bought simcity 4 a few years back and I was addicted. Well this year i decided to by an imac so i did. And i have been searching for some program that allows you to play simcity 4 windows on a machintosh. The only limitations for the program that i need to find is that it works, it is not 200mb like bootcamp more along the terms of 10mb. Just a program that intergrates the windows game code into mac please help.

I think there is a Mac version of SimCity4 that you may have to buy for the IMac. I could be wrong.

You can dual boot with Windows and Mac and run sc4 in windows too, but that would require you to install windows on your iMac.

Crossover Games sounds like what you're looking for. It isn't free, but at $40 it costs $20 less than the Mac version of Deluxe, and about $150 less than Windows XP Home, which is the minimum you'd need to spend to dual boot Windows on you Mac. I don't have very much personal experience with it, but one of my friends uses it to run the PC version of Team Fortress 2 on his Macbook and it looked like it worked well.

There are programs but I am absolutely positive that there is a imac version of sc4 cuz i have an imac and i just played it... but if you don't want to buy a new version and don't want to buy a new program I would recomend dual booting because if you already have the disk for a windows operating system ( with a multiple computer license ) you can install that on your imac ( i'm not quite sure how look on a mac forum ) and it won't cost anything.
