train station capacity issue

Being a mac user I have a problem with the proper capacity for the manta train station. Capacity is 37,500 however when placed I get only three as the capacity. Is there a fix for this situation. thanks....chazbrew

Do you have any other transit plug-ins or NAM installed? I will download it on my Mac and take a look though.

I'm afraid that's not the problem, unityx. A lot of batters often forget to change the transit switch capacity before they released their stations. The Windows version will appear normal either way, but one way for Mac is right and one is wrong. There's a thread about it around here somewhere. I gotta go hunt it up sometime.

I'd fix it myself right now, but 1 out of my 6 computers is a Windows machine. Guess which one just suffered total system failure? That's right! SIX computers and the only one that gives me crap is the Windows one...

Guh, rant over. Sorry. Kinda frustrated.

Good to know. I just tested it and yup, same capacity of 3 issue.

Well, I think the thread is gone. But not to worry, I found the post I made about it over at SC4D.

1) Open iLive Reader

2) Open the SC4lot file of the BAT

3) Go to the Exemplar Files and find these two entries

Transit switch entry cost

Transit switch traffic capacity

4) double click on them one by one and change the rep counts to zero.

5) save (of course!) and you're done!

That's how to fix it.

Zelgadis, I thank you for your quick solution to this problem, however the answer takes me deeper into the abyss. I have tried to down load the ilive reader. ran it thru the file juicer. I just don't know what I am looking at or what to do with it or if i down loaded the right thing. I am sure I will end up being a pest, but like a louisiana tick I will hang on till I get this one thing solved. If it is any consolation if you have a beer brewing question, I will nail it for you. I am pretty sure you need Windows to run that app. Not run it through file juicer. Hence Z's frustration with his only PC being out of order.

Oo, forgot to mention that iLive is Windows only. You'll have to find a Windows box to run it on.

On a happier note, back in the days when my Windows computer was working properly, I altered and uploaded several stations. Just search up my name on the STEX.

Zelgadis!!....Now you can understand why I brew my own beer, although Vodka is my choice of drink now. Spent a bit of time wondering why the "H" I couldn't get the thing to work. As luck would have it, I do not run windows as an aside, I could but have utter contempt for windows. Perhaps that is my flaw. HDH the one train station If it can be done (fixed for mac) is the manta train station by Equinox. It can be found by going to st exchange and typing in the word manta here at this site. Most stations work however as cities grow in stature and size the railroad gets hammered. I am a bit of a romantic and enjoy the RR. One important thing - if you do fix the transit capacity on your stations, it seems you need to bulldoze them and replop them for the game to pick up on the fix. This had me confused when I first tried...
