Well the thing is that we need people to want to become reviewers.

Also to the reviewes other than me. If you want to do a review of a Cj just ask the author.

If anyone still wants me, I could be a critic again. I miss the good old days...Oh no, I'm going off into another one of my flashbacks! No!

Why do I get the sinking feeling I was supposed to PM someone about this instead...41.gif

    ---CJ Review by Shingure---

    nc3nv1.jpg

Nagiosaki City is Cj by De Ja Vu that was opened November 15th 2008. This Cj shows many shots that are pleasing to the eyes and realistic. A good amount of custom content along with a wonderful arrangement and city building has allowed this Cj to come together as a lovely piece of work. This Cj is currently 5 pages long. Also dId I mention he mixes the custom content with Maxis? I guess not. But he mixes the two well!

In general this is a pretty top notch Cj with loads of good pictures. However there is one thing that is plaguing these lovely pictures. The images have been resized on site and as a result have become lowerquality. To counter this you can take smaller pictures , or resize them in GIMP or Photoshop or link these images to their pages on the host site so that way they can be in full resolution.

    nc1uy7.jpg

In short I found very little wrong with this Cj.  The building style is unique along with a nice balance of trees. Maxis and custom content are very nice and are very well synchronized. This a read that will keep you interested.

    The Good The Bad
This Cj corporates some very nice city planning along with some use of antigrid. Reigonal play is also showcased. Custom content mixes very well with Maxis as well. The Image resolution and/or quality

    CJ Review By Shingure

    libertycountyjr7.jpg

    By N106

Liberty County: Two Cities , One Metro Area is a chronocle CJ that works it's way up through the times. With a great and expansive story and custom content the author puts us into the environment. Into the cities that he creates back how they were as far back as the 1800's.  Liberty County was started on December 22nd 2008 and since then has managed to accumulate 45 updates.

Liberty County in indeed a vast Cj with loads of historical references and connections to years long past. However the picture editing is marvelous and allows someone to get a grasp of perhaps how old a picture of that plac is. However when doing these pictures it's also important to show that some of these pictures are worn down and old. It is just a suggestion however otherwise the pictures are great.

    libertycountyconclusionny8.jpg

To end this review I mark this CJ as a very good Cj and an inspiration for Time elapsing Cj's. I love the work and so far with the custom and even maxis content mixing so well with each other I bet it will look loads better by the time the 1960's or even late 50's rolls arond in this Cj. Also I would like to apologize for the late review for this person. They messaged me a while ago and I lost the message when I was cleaning my inbox

    The Good The Bad
The Author makes the time elapsing work for him as he showcases his cities which seem to mature overtime and grow as well. A good mixture of Maxis and Custom content also makes this Cj's realism come even more to light. There is no problems I can find that are signifigant.

    CJ Review By Shingure

    CoP1.jpg picture by RenikosEricos453

The Commonwealth of Paradise by Kj3400 was started on November 2nd of 2008 and it is currently a AFDES Observer nation. This Cj is very nice and I love the presence of custom content as well from the beginning. I will take this Cj part by part and review section by section in this review. On the first page we can see that there is custom content on the updates however the quality of the pictures has been effected due to some resizing. Luckily there is the Click for Full Resolution there to help guide us along the way. One issue I see from early on is the fact that there are no sea walls for the towns and that there was an absense of a slope mod which is fixed as early as page four.

This Cj also as it progresses also becomes more road oriented. Nothing is wrong with that however as a reviewer I would love to see more city and towns! A balance is always nice! Also the diagonal jagged edges mod can also come into use as well as there are some shots with diagonal walls that make the walls look awkward. In the most recent update the author shows us some nature shots which look very very nice as well.   CoP2.jpg picture by RenikosEricos453

As of now this Cj is on it's 6th page and is on it's way to the top with some fine tuning! Other than that the author has a knack for natural shots as well. Final words for this update check out the Commonwealth of Paradise. It's a treat for those of you like alittle bit of everything.

    The Good The Bad
The best thing about this Cj is that it's colourful and full of of custom content. Plus the most recent nature shots are lovely. A huge plus! There seems to be in terms of city building a slight lack of organization. Plus there are couple mods that may be needed to make it more realistic and aesthetically pleasing.
