Diagonal Streets on SC:S

I've just bought SC:S and was woundering, why I cant build diagonal streets like this:

Also, there are buildings on this picture which doesn't exist on my Societies, and I have the Deluxe Edition

What would that be ?!

I believe that is a picture of the game City Life and not SC:S.

SimCity 4 (even without Rush Hour) is better then Socities

Nah, I think that is SCS, but with the SimCity Creator expansion...

That is quite clearly City Life. City Life is the only city simulator I know that allows for a very free form way of laying road.

Sim City Creator is a stand-alone game, not an expansion pack.  And leonel1982 is right, City Life is the only city simulator that allows for such free-form road layouts.  Even though SC:C allows you to place odd-angled roads, there's still a conformance to gridded streets that must also be adhered to.

If you need more proof that it's from the game City Life, here's the location of the picture itself (found by right-clicking the image and choosing 'Properties'):

Hellstrand - agreed, since I have Sim City 4 too and I know that is for those who look for realism

But I think societies a fun game and can distract me very well... only this is already enough to me =D

Tilted Mills has a forum for Societies with a section for user uploaded mods.  It seems to be the only place to get SCS mods anymore.
