I lost my cd after 4 years! Of course when I lost it the first time, I had to buy it again. Is there a way to play without the cd? Or will I have to buy ANOTHER cd? I hate how I have two disc 1's and it won't let me play it still. Please let me know quick, I will go buy it if I have to!

I assume you mean install not play? You can play with just cd 1. Besides buying it again the only other way to install it is unspeakable on this site...

hmabmsusa: I had a very similar problem once : the only way to fix it is to buy another box - but in the USA they are only $20 - so it can't be too bad . Besides , you have something you can reinstall off of.

so you have already bought it twice? I have too - but buying it again would make it 3 times! you may try asking maxis for another disc two , they usually charge a small fee for this - but its probably cheaper than buying the full box for a third time.

If you loose a CD that you own fault for being careless. But in my case the CD got cracked and I told maxis and they gave me a new SC4 Deluxe at a discounted price. I had to show them a pic of the broken CD though so don't think they will let you have one. I think they can only do this once though because after that you would have to buy it at regular price.

No, you need the second disk for playing the game and the first disk for installing (deluxe version/Rush Hour). There's a couple of options you have.

1. Buy it. Seriously If you need the disks buy it from the store at the full price.

2. If you want it cheaper try buying the disks off the internet. Ebay? Amazon?

3. Contact EA. Email or Phone them. They may just give you the disk at a discount price.

I don't recommend the, "unspeakable" way either. Honesty is the answer
