I lost my cd after 4 years! Of course when I lost it the first time, I had to buy it again. Is there a way to play without the cd? Or will I have to buy ANOTHER cd? I hate how I have two disc 1's and it won't let me play it still. Please let me know quick, I will go buy it if I have to!

HEY everyone! Welcome to my second city journal of all time. I've been playing SC4 for about 4-5 years now....and I'm still addicted to it. I'm VERY picky when I design my cities, for example, I place industrial areas away from residential ones, and much more. Dare I say, I've gotten so use to the success of building a city, I build them within a day and move on, and later come back to develop the open lands. City of Boulder Ridge is a booming city nestled in Northern Right Region. This region encompasses dozens of thriving metropolises into a concentrated area. I meticulously have made a regional monorail and highway system throughout the region and encourage ferry transit where ever possible. I create cities based on realism (within reason).. City of Boulder sprouted as the result of industrial and commercial success in neighboring Monoraalia to the east. It's residential enclave is exclusively medium and high wealth regions and similar in commercial interests. Education is key and so is industry to it's perpetuating growth. I built all of this city yesterday. I'm not sure what'd you guys like to hear....PLEASE let me know if you like anything about the city, or what I should say to satisfy FAQ's. Feel free to question or comment, I can definitely help anyone who wants to become a "pro" at designing efficiently and creatively WITH success. I use very few BAT's and modds. I do have the modd that lets you have $100,000,000 from the start. And also the Network Addon. Enjoy the views! (Let me know if descriptions would be helpful...) I'll be upgrading to vista soon and was wondering wether simcity4 works on it or not. I probably won't upgrade if it doesn't work. Plus, don't you think they should have a version of simcity4 on vista? I think i might like simcity4 better than "simcity societies" in the future. It seems to me more like a disney's toontown, rather than the almost-perfect version of it right now.

I like both in many ways since i lived in both cities, SF better. San Fransisco definitely has better achitecture and beauty in its geography, inlcuding its grand entrance from the bay bridge or golden gate bridge. San Fransisco is a bay of course, and LA is not. So its most inland areas are not much worthy as living in the "bay". LA has beaches, and rich areas like malibu and down in OC. But it gets a little too hectic with toooo much traffic and smog. LA doesn't have the great downtown views unless you can ride a helicopter or live in the expensive hills. San fransisco also has hills around the bay, so it has many different viewpoints. Also in Northern California it's much more greener and suburbs are spread apart, not bunched up with San Fransisco city limits since the bay entrance and bay itself create a distance from the city. Overall San Fransisco is much more open, and just as good as LA, without the celebrity craze. Both are very expensive, and have pros and cons, not to mention people's likes.

hey, i was thinking of buying a mac ,ibook and wanted to no if simcity4 or sims 2 works properly on mac or not? can it mes up u'r mac? because i've used pc's all my life and desperately want to switch because i hate pc problems.

i go on imageshack.us to upload my photos and really don't no how to post them like big pictures. but on the other hand i think clicking pictures gives it a clearer BIGGER view of a BIG area with a lot of thing going on?plus it'd take ALOT of space too.

Welcome to the Region of TRIPPIN! Yes 1 of the best and clean/real-looking regions made! This region was carefully thought and master-planned.I understand that a lot of people just like looking at the pictures and cities and not the writing, I myself.or if you do wish to read the interesting things.....so i posted some of the cities' pictures(up to date) and about them right now,and SOON meaning next year will i start complete city journals about the uncomplete/complete parts of regions.so kick back, relax, and look at the tight region/cities' pics!!!and be sure to check back for more, I WILL update every 2-4 days! This part of region isn't done yet either and is going to take longer to finish because of its planning i have to do. As you can or maybe not see, every city has a special theme or attraction that makes sims or even us want to live there. for ex. Cali-Bordi has a long suspension bridge, Laguna Estaday has peeky mountain area with a bay. I love u'r city and the way its set up but can u tell me where u got the walls stuff on the slopes, did u download it at simtropolis or where the stuff thats around the highway and the by the houses? and i also want to no where u got the underground highway from? thankz if u can tell me (please) and good luck with u'r wonderful city!!!
