Historty

Discovered and colonized during the Imperial Age. Originally five different countries had claim to this new world but a continental war broke out across the sea that left one kingdom the victor. The next few centuries were free of turmoil. Growing tired of restricting rule, the Riveran colonies went to war with their Ruler and after many years of war they were finally granted independance. The beginnning years were tough and many forms of government were attempted with little success. There was a lack of leadership and the new country was in need of serious changes. In a drastic call a Monarch was appointed to lead the country. Rivera had been reluctant to resort to a Monarchy since the country they had parted from was a Monarchy. But this decision turned out to be the right one. The Royal family led Rivera to prosperity and through the generations they have turned Rivera into the most powerful country on Terra (fictional planet)

Ok, each update will be a different city. Some cities are older and have different planning so you'll have to bare with some of the early stuff. Now on with the show

Update 1

This is a tour of the country of Rivera. We'll be starting in the Imperial Bay region of the East Mountains. You'll be flying into Richmond...sorry!

Richmond: One of the original colonies, tobacco center, has the highest unemployment rate in the country as well as the highest crime rate in the country. You'd proably not live there by choice. However, there is a group of rich people that live in the suburb of Ridge Lake. We'll visit them first.

Update 2

San Rivera: Less crime than Richmond, also one of the original colonies. Has one of the larger ports for the region. It also has more parks than Richmond.

well, looks like a bit of a smog problem in palm beach. that waterfront looks real nice. Maybe some more custom content (such as docks, seaports, ferries) could really add a ton more to the city. Looking good tho

Very nice pictures here! Maybe a tad Maxisian, but there's nothing wrong with that, since you manage to pull of it excellently. That's one large industrial area at the top of the last picture. I'll be watching for more

Lexington: Largest city in the East Mountains region, the first Riveran colony. Located east of San Rivera and north of Richmond. The metro area spans around the Bay of Lexington which is connected to the Imperial Bay. Its also the first city I ever did
