I really want to be able to use the hole digging lots, but when I try to use file juicer on them, nothing useful comes out. Is there any other way to get these lots? Also, one more thing. How do I get to the preferences for file juicer?

Ok, well, I wouldn't host other peoples files without telling them first that you are going to upload them so that someone can download them.

And secondly, I would rather have the issue addressed, rather than just bypassed.

So, Lampala, What happens when you put it through filejuicer?

And can you post a picture of what comes out of filejuicer.

Just so you know, I'm not very knowledgeable about computers, but what comes out is: A read me, an "inflated", a bunch of pictures, and more folders titled "URLs", rtf, txt, and wmf which have useless and unusable stuff in them. And I have no idea how to make a screenshot (if that's what you want).

Well, I have no clue of what is going on, but may I suggest what I think is way better.

For you it would be better because there is no installer, take a look. (Linkie)

Those lots look great, but I don't see any "download" button on the page... Do I have to be registered?

Lampala: Yes, you have to register at the LEX to see the download button.

OK, I downloaded those, but when I put the files through filejuicer, I get nothing useful. Just pictures, text, and "inflated" files.

See, and this is why we don't just bypass the problem.

The problem that you have is that you don't put a zip file through file juicer. Just put .exe files through file juicer. When you put an .exe file through file juicer you will get what you got before but there will be more useful files like .dat ect.

So with the files that you just downloaded, nothing has to be done to them, unless of course you need to un-zip them. Then place the "Hole Digger and Raiser Lots" in your plugins folder, Because this folder contains the important files that you need, they all end in .SC4Lot

    And you are done.

I'm not sure I understand what you want me to do. Do you want me to put the plain .exe files into my plugins folder? Or do you want me to put JUST .exe files through filejuicer? And what do you mean by a zipped file?

Wait, I put plain .exe files into my plugins folder and it works. So do some .exe files work? I thought none of them worked with macs.

...So why are these working? I put the .exe file hole digger lots from un1's source into my plugins folder and they're there in the game, fully functional. Why is this?

no no no no no. They are not .exe files. They are SC4Lot files, they work.

I can see the confusion though, exe's look the same, but next time check the file extension carefully before deciding what needs to be done with them. Or else you run into the problems that you had before.
